Located in the Towns of Romulus and Varick in Seneca County, N.Y., the Declaration Solar Project is a proposed solar photovoltaic generating facility that will generate up to 200-megawatts of electricity. Energy storage may also be incorporated into the project.

Declaration Energy Center, LLC, intends to construct, own, operate, and maintain all components of the project, with the exception of the interconnection switchyard. The switchyard facility will be constructed by Declaration Energy Center, LLC, and then transferred to the New York State Electric & Gas (NYSEG), which will own, operate, and maintain the switchyard.
